The Torpedo Direct Hit has our newly formulated Low Friction Cover (LFC). Like the concept of The Spy, we have developed a ball that can use the same dynamic core as The Torpedo but with a low friction cover so it can be used on dry lanes or as a spare ball. Players with lower ball speeds can now take advantage of an asymmetrical ball without having the ball roll forward at the end of the pattern and hit flat. The uniqueness of the Torpedo Core comes from the drilling performance range. The starting differentials are .055 and .017, and they can be drilled to create a total diff of .068 with an intermediate diff of .034. They can also be drilled to a diff of .043 and an int diff of .016. These drilling options make the Torpedo very versatile, and along with the cover options, they can cover all lane conditions for a wide variety of bowlers' styles.
